At Kal’s Community Projects we believe changing mindsets changes lives. We believe our mindfulness initiatives improve the mental health of individuals and help young people and their families to make better choices and build healthier lifestyles. We are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the mental health of young people. This is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area.
Our mindfulness workshops use many tailored approaches to provide an interventional programme for young people. We use meditation, art, and music. We have developed programmes which we can do individually or group based.
Art, meditation, and music is known to be soothing to the human mind. These creative outlets are not only activities that young people find pleasurable but also are beneficial to the state of mind and health of people. We have found through our research and work that mindfulness programmes help young people to develop self-awareness and self-esteem. Young people build resilience and confidence from these programmes and develop a positive outlook to life and work/study which helps them to make better and informed choices.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic we have been developing an online platform for our workshops and programmes.
Currently, we run both on site and remote sessions.
