We at KCP want to help, support and educate young people. Our organisation focuses on addressing the root causes of youth violence to help reduce its impact on young people and society.
About KCP – Working Towards A Better Tomorrow
The primary focus of Kal’s community projects is to help and support young disadvantaged vulnerable individuals.
KCP also endeavours to educate young people, their families and the local community by raising awareness of issues such as mental health, domestic violence, gang violence, alcohol/drug abuse and knife crime.
The organisation attempts to positively impact the mind set of young people through the use of innovative methods which include mentoring and mindfulness programmes. KCP believes in the power of the community and adopting a multi-agency approach to help and support young people and their families.
Kal’s Community Projects (KCP) is a registered Community Interest Company based in Birmingham, West Midlands. KCP has been set up to help, guide, and support young people and families within deprived areas of Birmingham, especially those who have been disproportionately affected by the novel Covid-19 crisis.
Here at KAL’S COMMUNITY PROJECTS (KCP)
we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change.
Our Non-Profit Organisation has been set up to raise awareness of issues that are affecting young people and their families today. Our aim is to help, support and empower young people. Please contact us to learn more about our mission, our vision, and how we go about making the changes we want to see.
OUR BELIEF AND OUR AIM
The directors at Kal’s Community Projects (KCP) know that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. We are involved with many projects which include designing and implementing mindfulness events programmes and workshops.
We believe by adopting a mindfulness approach we can raise awareness of knife/gun crime, alcohol/drug abuse and mental health. Working together we can overcome our challenges much more efficiently and that is why we ultimately decided to launch KCP.
The aim of KCP is to get the wider community involved to help young people and their families in Birmingham. We plan to widen our network and get as many people as possible involved and engaged with our projects. Through our online platform we hope to reach even more young people and their families worldwide.
