No knifes, No Gun's, Yes To LIFE

Knifes, Handgun and Ammunition – Say Yes To Life and No To Crime

We have a high crime rate in the UK and many young people are linked to violence with the knife crime rate increasing every year. This negatively affects young people and can result in poor mental health. In the literature there is a strong correlation with violence and poor mental health (Haylock, 2020 & Enzmann, 2018). It is also known that substance abuse can trigger poor mental health and can result in violence (Haylock, 2020 & Lennings, 2003).

Kal’s Community Projects is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many projects to help improve the lives of others, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. We want to help and support as many young people as possible. Our aim is to serve the community by supporting young people and their families. One of our key areas we focus on is raising awareness of gun and knife crime. This is part of our awareness and advocacy programme. As part of this initiative we also raise awareness of mental health in our workshops and programmes.
